Draft Scouting Report

Rating: 71.85 (Roster depth)
Pro Comparison: Andy Dalton
Summary

Brady Cook is a well-rounded, athletic quarterback with solid pocket presence and ample experience. His arm strength is NFL average, with the ability to push it slightly above when necessary. While his throwing motion is somewhat arm-dominant and lacks full lower-body rotation, he processes the field efficiently and moves through progressions smoothly. He rarely appears rattled and makes sound decisions when his first read isn’t available.

Cook’s mobility is more evident as a scrambler, but he’s not a true off-script playmaker. He can sometimes drift backward under pressure, limiting his ability to make plays. While he stands tall against pressure, his accuracy declines in high-traffic situations and on deep throws. Overall, Cook is a savvy quarterback with an NFL-caliber arm, good decision-making and a controlled, rhythm-based play style.
