  • Drake Stoops WR | LAR

Rams' Drake Stoops: Staying in LA

The Rams signed Stoops to a reserve/future contract Monday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.

Stoops signed with the Rams in early May as an undrafted free agent. The Oklahoma product spent the entire 2024 regular season on the Rams' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he wasn't elevated for a single contest. By signing a futures contract, Stoops will be on the Rams' 90-man roster when the new league year begins March 12, and he'll work with coaches during OTAs, minicamp and training camp in the hopes of earning a roster spot for the 2025 campaign.

  • Jalen Virgil WR | BUF

Jalen Virgil: Back with practice squad

Virgil reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Virgil has now been elevated to the Bills' active roster for each of their two playoff games. However, the Appalachian State product didn't play a snap in either contest, likely serving as additional wide receiver depth in case of injuries. He could return to the Bills' active roster for Sunday's AFC Championship Game in Kansas City.

  • Anthony Miller WR | BAL

Anthony Miller: Reverts to practice squad

Miller reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

With Zay Flowers (knee) sidelined Sunday, the Memphis product was elevated to Baltimore's active roster to ensure depth at wideout in the divisional-round loss to the Bills. Miller performed well when called upon, catching his only target for 16 yards while playing just eight offensive snaps. He may have earned himself a spot on an NFL roster in 2025, as he proved to be a reliable pass-catching option by hauling in all four of his targets for 28 yards across just 17 offensive snaps in two playoff games with the Ravens.

  • Tom Kennedy WR | DET

Lions' Tom Kennedy: Inks new deal with Detroit

The Lions signed Kennedy to a reserve/future contract Monday.

The Bryant product will remain in Detroit after spending his 2024 campaign between the Lions' practice squad and active roster. Kennedy appeared in four regular-season games for the Lions this season, failing to haul in his only target while also tallying 167 kick-return yards and nine punt-return yards. He's likely to compete for a reserve role in the Lions' wide receiver corps throughout the offseason.

  • Rams' Jordan Whittington: Earns 11 snaps on offense

Whittington secured his only target for 12 yards during Sunday's 28-22 divisional round loss to the Eagles.

Notably, Whittington easily outpaced fellow backup Tutu Atwell, who only recorded two snaps on offense, in playing time. The sixth-round rookie carved out a small role on offense in the 2024 campaign, putting up a 22-293-0 receiving line while tacking on a pair of rushing attempts for 12 yards. Whittington's role may increase in 2025, as both Demarcus Robinson and the aforementioned Atwell are unrestricted free agents, and Whittington's production when pressed into the starting lineup was solid, including seven catches for 89 yards in a Week 5 loss to Green Bay.

  • Tutu Atwell WR | LAR

Rams' Tutu Atwell: Only two snaps in defeat

Atwell secured his only target for 18 yards during Sunday's 28-22 NFC divisional-round loss to the Eagles.

The two snaps on offense actually doubled his number from the wild-card round, and Atwell's 18-yard catch in the fourth quarter led to a Colby Parkinson touchdown. Despite a career-high 42 receptions and 562 receiving yards, Atwell failed to record a touchdown and saw his role reduced significantly once Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp returned to the lineup from injury. Atwell, along with teammate Demarcus Robinson, are unrestricted free agents heading into the offseason, and the Rams will have a decision to make on bringing one or both of them back or relying on Nacua, Kupp and rookie Jordan Whittington to anchor their wide receiver room in 2025.

  • Rams' Demarcus Robinson: Second on team in receiving yards

Robinson secured three of seven targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 28-22 NFC divisional-round loss to the Eagles.

The veteran wideout was able to make a huge play in the first quarter, ripping a deep ball from Matthew Stafford out of the hands of cornerback Isaiah Rodgers for a 48-yard gain that led to a Joshua Karty field goal. It was a tale of two halves of the season for Robinson, as the majority of his career-high 505 receiving yards (on just 31 catches) came between Weeks 1 and 9. A second-half swoon saw four consecutive games where he was held without a catch, a troubling trend for Robinson, who enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

  • Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Uncertain for Sunday's game

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said "we'll see how that goes" when asked Monday about Hardman (knee) coming off IR in time for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Bills, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.

"I haven't made any decisions on that yet," Reid said. "[Hardman has] worked hard to try and get himself back." The return specialist and depth wideout had his 21-day practice window opened Jan. 1, but he's yet to upgrade beyond limited on-field activity. If Kansas City doesn't activate Hardman before his practice window closes, he will have to remain on IR for the rest of the playoffs, including if the Chiefs advance beyond Sunday's home AFC Championship Game against Buffalo.

  • Texans' Johnny Johnson: Stays with Houston

Johnson signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Johnson has been a regular on Houston's practice squad, originally joining the franchise in 2022. Since then he's appeared in two regular-season games for the team, but he has yet to record any counting stats. He'll work toward a chance to make a greater impact in 2025.

  • Amari Cooper WR | BUF

Bills' Amari Cooper: Non-factor in divisional-round win

Cooper didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 27-25 AFC divisional-round win over the Ravens.

Cooper has just eight yards through two playoff games, as the veteran wide receiver has failed to step up in the postseason. Josh Allen threw for only 127 yards as the Bills rode three rushing touchdowns and a 3-0 edge in the turnover battle to a berth in the AFC Championship Game, but Cooper could be more involved in Kansas City if Buffalo's forced into a more pass-heavy game plan.
