Realmuto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Giants.
Realmuto got the Phillies on the board in the second inning, when he took Justin Verlander deep to left-center field for a 387-foot solo homer, and the former brought in another run when his single in the sixth inning brought Kyle Schwarber home. Tuesday was Realmuto's first game since April 2 in which he recorded an RBI. He's slashing .245/.327/.367 with four stolen bases, one home run and five RBI in 55 plate appearances this season.

It was an encouraging effort from Realmuto, who'd gone just 2-for-17 (.118) in four games prior to Thursday's contest. With his two steals, the 34-year-old catcher has already matched his regular-season total from 2024, where he slashed .266/.322/.429 with 14 homers, 47 RBI and 50 runs scored across 413 plate appearances.

Realmuto was removed from Saturday's game against the Nationals due to a left foot contusion, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The move to replace Realmuto with Rafael Marchan in the bottom of the seventh was done for "precautionary reasons." It doesn't appear that Realmuto's injury is of much concern, though it could impact his availability for Sunday's series finale. He went 0-for-4 before being removed from Saturday's game.
