  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Notches 18 points in win

Tatum recorded 18 points (7-21 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Monday's 108-89 win over the Heat.

Tatum was carrying a questionable tag into this game due to knee soreness but kept his streak alive with zero missed games in 21 appearances. He's been a first-round value in nine-category formats so far, posting averages of 28.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 4.0 three-pointers.

  • Celtics' Drew Peterson: Gets 20-plus minutes once again

Peterson tallied seven points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes Monday in the Celtics' 108-89 win over the Heat.

After playing just eight total minutes through the Celtics' first 19 games of the season, Peterson has now handled 25- and 26-minute workloads off the bench in Boston's last two contests. A two-way player, Peterson was a standout performer in his two G League stops in 2023-24 and has continued to shine with the Maine Celtics over five appearances in 2024-25, but playing time at the NBA level only recently opened up due to Boston holding out Jaylen Brown and Derrick White in Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers and Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (foot), Al Horford (toe) and Sam Hauser (personal) on Monday. All four of those players could return to action for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, so Peterson is likely to find himself back outside of the rotation rather than getting another 20-plus-minute role.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Hands out eight assists in return

White (foot) notched 19 points (7-14 FG, 5-12 3Pt), six rebounds and eight assists in 31 minutes during Monday's 108-89 victory over the Heat.

Returning to Boston's lineup after a one-game absence due to a foot issue, White didn't miss a beat while matching teammate Payton Pritchard with a game-high five three-pointers. White has reached double figures in scoring in each of his last seven games, averaging 17.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 0.9 blocks and 3.9 three-pointers per contest while shooting 41.5 percent from long range over this frame. The 30-year-old two-way guard has been a gem in nine-category leagues for his ability to contribute across the board all season long, but his usage may not be as high on nights when the Celtics' loaded lineup is at full strength. With that said, White should remain quite efficient on offense in those cases and perhaps be able to place an even bigger emphasis on racking up the defensive stats fantasy managers have grown accustomed to in recent years.

  • Celtics' Luke Kornet: Block party in spot start

Kornet produced six points (3-4 FG), four rebounds, three assists and six blocks in 27 minutes during Monday's 108-89 victory over the Heat.

Making his third start of the season, Kornet swatted a season-high six shots while filling in at center for the resting Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford on the second night of a back-to-back set. Kornet did a fine job defending Bam Adebayo, who went just 6-for-18 from the field for the Heat. Kornet doesn't necessarily have a defined role in Boston's rotation on a nightly basis, but he's been effective in 10 appearances as a starter since 2023-24, averaging 10.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.5 blocks in 28.2 minutes per game while shooting 74.6 percent from the floor during this period dating back to last season. The 29-year-old veteran big man is a worthy plug-and-play option for fantasy managers on occasions that he joins the first unit, which is something to watch out for when the Celtics play back-to-back games once again Friday against the Bucks and Saturday against the Grizzlies.

  • Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Game-high 29 points in return

Brown (illness) posted 29 points (8-21 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Monday's 108-89 victory over the Heat.

After missing Sunday's narrow loss to Cleveland with an illness, Brown did all of his damage in just three quarters Monday, sitting out the fourth quarter as Boston nursed a late lead. Brown's game-high 29 points lifted some of the burdens from the shoulders of Jayson Tatum, who fired a season-high 27 field-goal attempts Sunday against the Cavaliers. Over his last 10 games, Brown is averaging 24.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.1 three-pointers in 36.2 minutes per game while shooting a strong 38.2 percent from downtown during this span. Brown had shot just 71.4 percent from the free-throw line in his previous eight games to Monday, but fantasy managers should be very pleased with the star wing's 9-for-10 clip from the foul line in this one.

  • Celtics' Payton Pritchard: Shines off bench in dominant win

Pritchard produced 25 points (10-17 FG, 5-12 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block across 33 minutes during Monday's 108-89 win over the Heat.

Pritchard led the bench in scoring and totaled 20-plus points in his fourth consecutive outing. During this four-game span, he's averaged 24.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals across 31.0 minutes per game off the bench. The Sixth Man of the Year candidate has recorded eight games with more than 20 points over 21 regular-season appearances, and he has provided an irreplaceable spark off the bench thus far. The 26-year-old sharpshooter has also contributed nine outings with more than five made three-pointers, and his efficiency from beyond the arc has been impressive during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Celtics' Jordan Walsh: Draws rare start

Walsh is starting Monday's game against the Heat, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Walsh will draw his first start of the season after barely cracking the rotation for the first month of the NBA season. He'll draw the start at small forward while Derrick White mans point guard -- due to the absence of Jrue Holiday (knee) -- and Jaylen Brown shifts to shooting guard.

  • Celtics' Luke Kornet: Starting Monday

Kornet is in the Celtics' starting five for Monday's game against the Heat, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Kornet will make his third start of the 2024-25 campaign Monday due to the absences of Kristaps Porzingis (rest) and Al Horford (rest/toe), which means Neemias Queta should see increased minutes off the bench. In his last start, Kornet logged 19 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes against the Hornets on Nov. 2.

  • Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Will play Monday

Brown (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Heat.

Brown was a late scratch against Cleveland on Sunday and was questionable for the second half of Boston's back-to-back set. Over his last nine appearances, Brown has averaged 24.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 0.8 steals in 36.7 minutes per game. The veteran forward could be in line for increased usage Monday, as Al Horford (rest/toe), Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (rest/knee) and Sam Hauser (personal) are all sidelined.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Good to go Monday

White (foot) is available for Monday's game against the Heat, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

White and Jayson Tatum (knee) have been upgraded to available, but Jaylen Brown (illness) remains questionable, while Sam Hauser (personal), Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (knee/rest) and Al Horford (toe/rest) have all been ruled out. Despite missing his first game of the season Sunday, White isn't expected to have any restrictions during the second half of Boston's back-to-back set. Across 14 November contests, White averaged 18.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.8 steals in 34.6 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Getting green light

Tatum (knee) is available for Monday's game against the Heat, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Tatum and Derrick White (foot) have been upgraded to available, but Jaylen Brown (illness) remains questionable, while Sam Hauser (personal), Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (knee/rest) and Al Horford (toe/rest) have all been ruled out. Tatum has yet to miss a game this season, averaging 28.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks in 36.3 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Sam Hauser: Late scratch Monday

Hauser has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat due to personal reasons, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Hauser is a late addition to the injury report and joins a long list of unavailable players for the second half of a back-to-back set. Boston will have Derrick White (foot) and Jayson Tatum (knee) available, but Jaylen Brown (illness) remains questionable, while Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (knee/rest) and Al Horford (rest/toe) have all been ruled out already.

  • Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Questionable for Monday

Brown (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against Miami, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

Brown was a late scratch Sunday against Cleveland, and it remains to be seen if he can give it a go for the second leg of this back-to-back set. If Brown does manage to suit up, he'd be looking at a ton of usage most likely, as Jayson Tatum (knee) and Derrick White (foot) are questionable, while Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Jrue Holiday (knee) and Al Horford (rest) have already been ruled out.

  • Celtics' Al Horford: Out Monday, as expected

Horford (rest/toe) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

As expected, Horford will take a seat for the second half of Boston's back-to-back set after posting eight points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 30 minutes during Sunday's loss to Cleveland. With Kristaps Porzingis (rest/knee) also out, Neemias Queta, Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman are all candidates for increased roles.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Will sit out Monday

Porzingis won't play Monday against Miami due to left posterior tibiialis tendon injury management, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

As expected, Porzingis will be held out for the second leg of this back-to-back set for maintenance reasons. Fantasy managers can expect him back Wednesday against Detroit. With Al Horford (toe) also resting Monday, Neemias Queta and Luke Kornet will likely cover most of the minutes at center.

  • Celtics' Jrue Holiday: Won't play Monday

Holiday has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat due to left knee tendinopathy, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

Holiday played 34 minutes during Sunday's loss in Cleveland and will take a seat for the second half of a back-to-back set, marking only his second absence of the season. Holiday's absence Monday may be merely precautionary, but he should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons. Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser are candidates for increased roles, especially if Jayson Tatum (knee), Jaylen Brown (illness) and Derrick White (foot) are downgraded from questionable to out.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Iffy for Monday

White (foot) is questionable for Monday's game against Miami, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out Sunday's game against the Cavaliers with an injury he picked up Friday, White remains day-to-day. Jrue Holiday (knee) has been ruled out for maintenance, while Jayson Tatum (knee) and Jaylen Brown (illness) are questionable. White could be looking at heavy usage if he gets the green light to suit up.
