Thompson closed with 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Friday's 120-105 win over Chicago.
Thompson had made just two brief appearances for the Pacers this season before Friday's explosion, but he played impactful minutes and finished with a plus-25 differential. The two-way player started over Garrison Mathews to begin the second half of Friday's win, so it'll be interesting to see if he gets the starting nod Monday versus the Kings.

Siakam notched 36 points (13-24 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and two steals in 31 minutes during Friday's 120-105 victory over Chicago.
Siakam was scoreless through the first quarter of Friday's win, but he couldn't be stopped once his shot started falling, and he finished with a new season high in points. The star forward helped the Pacers snap a two-game skid as they earned their first road win of the season.

Mathews is in the starting lineup for Friday's game in Chicago, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Mathews will get the spot start with Ben Sheppard (calf) unavailable, and he'll be joined in the first unit by Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin, Pascal Siakam and Jay Huff. Mathews is averaging 4.7 points on 40.0 percent shooting from the field for the Pacers this season.

Pacers' Ben Sheppard: No timetable for return
Head coach Rick Carlisle said Friday that the Pacers hope Sheppard's (calf) injury isn't a long-term issue, but he remains without a timetable for return, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Carlisle said that while the team hopes it's not a long-term problem, the Pacers don't quite know the severity of Sheppard's injury yet. He's dealing with a left calf strain. T.J. McConnell, Johnny Furphy and Garrison Mathews will likely see more action until Sheppard returns.

Sheppard is out for Friday's game against the Bulls with a left calf strain.
This is a new injury for Sheppard, who's now going to be out for the first time this season. Calf strains have a tendency to be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, but since the Pacers haven't offered a timeline for a return, Sheppard can be deemed day-to-day for the time being. His absence should enhance T.J. McConnell's streaming appeal.

Jackson has been a wild card for the Pacers ever since being relegated to the bench in favor of Jay Huff, as his production has been inconsistent, but he remains a key contributor as it appears Indiana has elected to split time relatively evenly between Huff and Jackson. In his last four games off the bench, Jackson averages 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks across 18.5 minutes, providing value across the board, but his lack of volume and playing time prevents him from being a necessity on most rosters.
