Wizards' Tristan Vukcevic: Remains out
Vukcevic (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
Vukcevic has yet to make his season debut and doesn't have a return timeline. Barring a return to practice, the second-year big man can be considered doubtful for future contests.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Out Tuesday, as expected
Kuzma (ribs) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
As expected, Kuzma will miss a second straight game due to a left rib sprain. In his absence, Alex Sarr moved to power forward, while Jonas Valanciunas started at center against the Bucks on Saturday. Kuzma's next chance to suit up will come Thursday against Dallas.

Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Dominant in G League win
Champagnie played 33 minutes Sunday during the G League Capital City Go-Go's 129-127 win over Westchester and logged 29 points (11-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks.
Champagnie was dominant for the Go-Go during Sunday's game, scoring a season-high 29 points while shooting an effective 68.8 percent from the field. The two-way player also managed to compile his fourth double-double of the season across just eight games played.

Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Productive in spot start Saturday
Valanciunas closed with 16 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Saturday's 124-114 loss to Milwaukee.
Valanciunas earned his first start since Nov. 8, when he recorded 16 points in a loss to the Grizzlies, in an effort to counter the Bucks' frontcourt physicality of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez. Even though the Wizards suffered another loss, Valanciunas had a decent showing, and the veteran continues to remain valuable in fantasy even if he's not starting. Valanciunas has scored at least 15 points in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and he's registered double-digit points in 12 of his 18 contests.

Wizards' Malcolm Brogdon: Records double-double
Brogdon registered 29 points (10-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes during Saturday's 124-114 loss to the Bucks.
Brogdon didn't make his season debut until Nov. 17 and looked rusty in his first two appearances of the campaign, but he's been trending in the right direction of late. The veteran floor general, who's likely to be a sought-after commodity in the trade market in the coming weeks, has scored at least 15 points in his last four outings, shooting 55.5 percent from the field in that stretch.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Goes for 31 points in loss
Poole logged 31 points (10-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 124-114 loss to the Bucks.
The Wizards came up short Saturday and fell to 2-16 on the season, but Poole notched an impressive fantasy stat line, aided by his second 30-point effort of the season -- and first since the Nov. 13 loss to the Spurs. Poole also managed to bounce back after notching eight points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT) against the Clippers on Nov. 27 following a two-game absence. Despite the team's struggles and Poole's own inconsistencies, the guard should remain the Wizards' go-to player on offense on a regular basis.

Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Moving to starting role Saturday
Valanciunas is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Bucks, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports.
The Wizards will add size to their frontcourt to counter the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez, so Valanciunas will start at center and Alex Sarr will get the nod at power forward. Valanciunas is averaging 11.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game since the beginning of November.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Absence confirmed Saturday
Kuzma (ribs) is out for Saturday's game against the Bucks.
Kuzma didn't participate in Friday's practice and wasn't expected to play Saturday, so the designation isn't surprising. The veteran forward will also likely miss Tuesday's matchup with the Cavaliers. Kyshawn George, Patrick Baldwin and Corey Kispert are candidates for increased playing time with Kuzma sidelined.

Wizards' Tristan Vukcevic: Remains out for Saturday
Vukcevic (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Bucks.
Vukcevic has yet to make his season debut, and his timetable for a return is unclear as he recovers from a left knee contusion. The 21-year-old big man is expected to require a reconditioning period once he is cleared for game action, though his next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Cavaliers.

Wizards' Kyle Kuzma: Likely out for next two games
Kuzma (ribs) didn't participate in Friday's practice is not expected to play in Saturday's game versus the Bucks or Tuesday's matchup with the Cavaliers, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Kuzma suffered a rib injury against the Clippers on Wednesday and is now expected to miss Washington's next two contests. If Kuzma is officially ruled out, Kyshawn George, Patrick Baldwin and Corey Kispert are candidates to receive increased playing time.

Wizards' Kyshawn George: Plays 26 minutes in rout
George posted two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Although he was moved to the bench in Jordan Poole's (hip) return to action, George was still able to play 26 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Clippers. While his performance was muted, George could find himself garnering more playing time with an uptick in fantasy value once again after Kyle Kuzma exited Wednesday's game due to a rib injury. George would be a candidate to rejoin Washington's starting lineup if Kuzma is unable to play in Saturday's matchup with the Bucks. In his six appearances as a starter this season, the rookie first-rounder is averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.

Wizards' Bilal Coulibaly: Continues to struggle in loss
Coulibaly ended with three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Following a promising start to the season, Coulibaly is beginning to struggle a bit lately. Over his last eight games, Coulibaly is averaging 9.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting just 39.1 percent from the field. The 20-year-old former No. 7 overall pick is still playing a prominent role in Washington's rotation, however, averaging 35.5 minutes per game during this time. Despite the current cold spell, his disruptive defense and ability to contribute across the board should help him maintain significant minutes for the Wizards moving forward.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Looks rusty in return
Poole posted eight points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 loss to the Clippers.
Making his return from a two-game absence due to a hip injury, Poole matched his season low with eight points and saw his minutes limited with Wednesday's game out of hand by the fourth quarter. Despite Wednesday's dud, Poole is still averaging a strong 20.8 points, 5.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.0 three-pointers per game over his last six outings while shooting 46.2 percent from beyond the arc during this span. The 25-year-old combo guard has mostly thrived in 2024-25 as Washington's point guard following the departure of Tyus Jones this past offseason, so fantasy managers should expect Poole to bounce back as he gets further removed from the hip issue.
