Cardinals' L.J. Collier: Staying in Arizona
Collier signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Collier appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Cardinals in 2024 -- which was the first time he's done that in his six-year NFL career -- and he finished with career highs in total tackles (29) and sacks (3.5). Collier will remain in Arizona for the 2025 campaign and likely serve in a rotational role at defensive end behind Justin Jones (triceps) and Josh Sweat.

Collier finished the 2024 season with 29 total tackles (13 solo), including 3.5 sacks, while also adding two passes defensed and a fumble recovery over 17 games.
Collier had a career year in 2024, setting new career highs in tackles and sacks, while appearing in all 17 games for the first time in his six years in the NFL. The defensive end will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and his 2024 performance will certainly draw the attention of plenty of potential suitors.

Collier (biceps) is expected to be "pretty much full tilt" when the Cardinals begin their offseason program, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Collier appeared in only one game for Arizona last season before suffering a biceps injury and spent the rest of the season sidelined. He re-signed with the team earlier in March, and with him nearing full health, he should have a second chance to impress in 2024.

Cardinals' L.J. Collier: Re-ups with Cards
Arizona is re-signing Collier (biceps) to a one-year contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Collier appeared in only one game with the Cardinals last year before suffering a season-ending biceps injury, but he impressed the team enough during last offseason's training camp that he'll get another chance in the desert. There's not yet any reason to suspect that the 2019 first-round pick will be less than a full participant when offseason workouts kick off.
