Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen: Won't play in regular-season finale
Hines-Allen (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 18 clash against the Colts.
The Jaguars announced Saturday morning that Hines-Allen won't travel with the team to Indianapolis due to a personal matter. Sunday will mark the star defensive end's first regular-season absence since 2021. Hines-Allen's 2024 campaign will end with his sacks total dropping from 17.5 last year to 8.0 this season. However, he's still had a strong year with 29 QB pressures and 45 total tackles along with two pass defenses and a recovered fumble. Hines-Allen has four years remaining on the five-year, $141.25 million contract he inked with the Jaguars in April.

Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen: Earns season-high tackle total
Hines-Allen recorded six tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Sunday's 20-13 win versus the Titans.
Protecting a lead late in the third quarter, Hines-Allen overpowered massive left tackle JC Latham and felled the bulky Mason Rudolph for his eighth sack of the season. He'll take all the pass-rushing opportunities he can get when the Jaguars go on the road to play a run-heavy Indianapolis team in Week 18.

Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen: Gets another sack in win
Hines-Allen recorded two tackles (two solo) including 1.0 sacks and a forced fumble during Sunday's 10-6 win at Tennessee.
The Titans were trying to get off a hail-mary attempt from midfield on the last play of the first half, but Hines-Allen turned the corner around left tackle JC Latham and crushed Will Levis, forcing a fumble that Tennessee was fortunate to recover. He'll be looking to add to his season sack total in Week 15 versus the Jets.

Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen: Registers sixth sack
Hines-Allen posted four tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Texans.
Hines-Allen's sack came on a second-and-goal play from the six-yard line in the second quarter and helped hold Houston to a field goal. It was the veteran defensive end's first sack since he registered a pair of them against the Eagles in Week 9. Hines-Allen's 6.0 sacks on the campaign are a far cry from the career-high 17.5 he racked up last season.
