Bills' Taylor Rapp: Considered day-to-day
Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Monday that Rapp is considered day-to-day with a hip injury, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
The veteran safety from Washington exited the Bills' divisional-round win over the Ravens due to a hip injury, and McDermott's comments Monday suggest he's got a chance to return for Sunday's AFC Championship Game in Kansas City. Rapp's practice participation throughout the week is likely to offer the best insight into whether he can return in time for Sunday's contest. If he's unable to go, expect Cole Bishop to start alongside Damar Hamlin in Buffalo's secondary.

Rapp (hip) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's AFC divisional-round matchup with Baltimore.

Rapp (neck) was a limited participant at the Bills' walkthrough practice Wednesday, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
Rapp was able to play through his neck issue during Sunday's game versus the Jets, so it's likely Buffalo is simply taking a cautious approach ahead of Week 18. If he's able to log a full practice Thursday or Friday, he would likely go into the weekend without an injury designation.

Rapp wasn't given an injury designation ahead of last Sunday's loss to the Rams due to the same injuries, and he went on to play all 77 defensive snaps. It's unclear if he suffered some sort of setback, but Rapp was unable to practice earlier in the week. Fellow starting safety Damar Hamlin (back) is also questionable for Sunday after he was downgraded to DNP on Thursday with a new injury. Already without starting CB Rasul Douglas (knee), Buffalo's secondary could be severely shorthanded against Detroit's high-octane offense.

Rapp also played on all 72 defensive snaps. The safety has played on every defensive snap in seven of the 12 games he's played in this season. Rapp has 75 tackles (42 solo), six passes defensed, including two interceptions, and a forced fumble in 2024.
