  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not needed in Sunday's win

Brown caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 22-10 wild-card round win over the Packers.

The Eagles' offense didn't really need to do much after jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but Brown's lack of volume was still curious. Tight end Dallas Goedert wound up leading the team with six targets, however, with Brown finishing third behind DeVonta Smith's four. Brown hasn't received fewer than six targets in consecutive games all year, so chances are good that Philly's leading receiver will be much more involved in the divisional round after posting a 67-1,079-7 line in only 13 regular-season contests.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Avoids injury designation

Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) and WR DeVonta Smith (back) also avoided injury designations, ensuring the Eagles will have all 11 starters on offense available this Sunday. The Green Bay defense isn't quite as healthy, notably missing top cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), but the unit has mostly played well this season even with Alexander being unavailable more often than not.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Back at practice Friday

Brown (knee) is participating in Friday's practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.

Brown was limited in practice Wednesday then sat out Thursday's session, so it's encouraging to see him back on the field in some capacity Friday. Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith is not practicing Friday due to back tightness, but he's expected to be available for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Packers, while Jalen Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol. Friday's official injury report will reveal whether Brown's status is truly uncertain for Sunday's game, or whether his missed practices have been more related to maintenance.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Officially DNP on Thursday

Brown (knee/rest) didn't take part in practice Thursday.

After not being seen at the open part of Thursday's session, Brown officially went down as a non-participant, one day removed from logging a limited practice due to knee and rest. The absence may have been related to maintenance of the knee issue that has lingered since Week 16 prep, and there's an expectation from the Eagles that he'll be available for Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Philadelphia's playoff opener.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not seen at practice

Brown (knee/rest) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After Wednesday's session, Brown was listed as limited due to knee/rest, which has been the norm for the wide receiver stretching back to Week 16 prep. While he played Weeks 16 and 17, he was held out of the Eagles' regular-season finale against the Giants along with a number of other starters. According to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, there's an expectation that Brown will suit up for Sunday's wild-card game against the Packers, so his potential absence Thursday may be related to maintenance. Philadelphia's upcoming injury report ultimately will reveal Brown's activity level, or lack thereof.

  • Eagles' A.J. Brown: Limited Wednesday

Brown (knee/rest) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Brown was listed with both the knee injury and rest on Eagles injury reports in advance of each of the team's final three games of the regular season. He suited up for the first two contests, combining for a 11-133-2 line on 20 targets between Weeks 16 and 17. With Philadelphia locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC heading into Week 18, he sat out along with a number of starters this past Sunday against the Giants. The Eagles are easing Brown into this week as well, but he'll have two more chances to get back to full participation before the team potentially tags him with a designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers.
