Patriots' Sidy Sow: Returns to field
Sow (ankle) will practice Monday, Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican reports.
Sow has been out of action since suffering the injury in the Patriots' final preseason game. His return to practice early in the week could put him on a trajectory to make his season debut this Sunday against the 49ers, although more clarity on the chances of that happening likely won't come until the tail end of the week.

Sow (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Sow has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury in the Patriots' final preseason game. His extended absence is likely to keep him out for Week 2 against the Seahawks, even if he can return to the field in some form Friday. For Week 1, New England elevated Michael Jordan from the practice squad and gave him the start at left guard, which will likely be the plan again Sunday if Sow ultimately sits out a second straight game.
