Commanders' Dyami Brown: Another standout effort Saturday
Brown brought in six of eight targets for 98 yards in the Commanders' 45-31 divisional-round win over the Lions on Saturday night.
Brown was the surprise leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Commanders on the night while also recording the second-longest catch of the upset victory via a 42-yard grab on the first play of the second quarter. The 2021 third-round pick enjoyed an ascendant regular season and has stepped up his play further since, posting a combined 11-187-1 line on 13 targets over Washington's two postseason victories to date. Brown will look to keep up the productive stretch against either the Rams or the Eagles in an NFC Championship Game battle on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Career game in playoff win
Brown hauled in all five of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
Brown got the scoring going for Washington when he brought down a 10-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of Sunday's wild-card round matchup. The fourth-year pro out of North Carolina tacked on 79 more yards in order to finish with his best receiving line in the Commanders' first playoff appearance since drafting the wideout in 2021. Brown may be asked to continue his elevated role in the divisional round if Washington is forced to keep up with Detroit's high-octane offense.

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Three catches against Cowboys
Brown caught three of four targets for 16 yards and added one carry for eight yards in Sunday's 23-19 win over the Cowboys.
Brown was involved in all aspects of the Commanders' offense Sunday, even adding a passing attempt that missed the mark. The fourth-year wide receiver played 25 of the Commanders' 58 offensive snaps in the contest, well behind Terry McLaurin (53) and Olamide Zaccheaus (40). In 16 regular-season games this season, Brown recorded 30 receptions on 40 targets for 308 yards and a touchdown, adding three carries for 26 yards. After a quiet Week 18, the 27-year-old will look to make a bigger impact in the first round of the playoffs when the Commanders visit the Buccaneers for a wild-card showdown.

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Back in for Week 18

Brown upgraded to full practice participation Friday to avoid an injury designation after being a non-participant Wednesday and limited Thursday. He's set to return after a one-game absence and figures to reprise a starting role on the outside in Washington's final regular-season action before the playoffs.

This marks Brown's first notable on-field work since injuring his hamstring Week 16 against the Eagles. He thus will have one more session this week Friday to prove his health, at which point the Commanders could make a decision on his availability, or lack thereof, ahead of Sunday's game at Dallas. Brown was injured in the Commanders' Week 16 win over the Eagles and sat out a Week 17 win over the Falcons. His absence opened up more playing time for Olamide Zaccheaus, who took full advantage with three touchdowns over the past two games. Zaccheaus' emergence could mean that Brown handles a more limited role once he returns, although that wouldn't be anything new after Brown spent much of the year backing up Noah Brown (kidney). The Commanders could get Noah Brown back from injured reserve during the playoffs, so Dyami Brown's run of steady playing time could come to an end in the postseason, if not Week 18.

Brown made an early exit from last Sunday's win over the Eagles and didn't practice at all this week. His departure from the last-second win in Week 16 left more snaps/routes for Olamide Zaccheaus and Jamison Crowder, both of whom scored multiple touchdowns after previously having none this season.
