Rams' Roger McCreary: Ready for Sunday
After being traded from the Titans to the Rams on Tuesday, McCreary is available for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
McCreary was an integral part of Tennessee's secondary prior to being traded Tuesday, logging 33 total tackles and two passes defended, including one interception, over eight appearances. Now that he's in line to make his Rams debut in Week 9, he's expected to operate as one of the team's top slot cornerbacks.

Rams' Roger McCreary: Dealt to Rams
The Rams acquired McCreary and a 2026 sixth-round pick from the Titans on Monday in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The fourth-year pro from Auburn made eight appearances (three starts) for the Titans in 2025 prior to being traded, recording 33 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defended, with one interception. McCreary is expected to help fortify a Rams secondary that's been solid through eight weeks, allowing just 208.3 passing yards per game. Once fully integrated into the defense, he's projected to start at slot corner, moving Quentin Lake into a reserve role.

Titans' Roger McCreary: Picks off Nix in Week 1 loss
McCreary logged five tackles (four solo) and an interception during the Titans' 20-12 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
McCreary jumped in front of Courtland Sutton to pick off of an ill-advised throw from Bo Nix late in the first quarter, though the Titans' offense wasn't able to capitalize by producing a scoring drive despite the strong field position. McCreary played in 34 of the Titans' 76 defensive snaps Sunday and primarily worked as a slot corner and in nickel packages.

Titans' Roger McCreary: Decreased production in 2024
McCreary registered 50 tackles (43 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense over 15 regular-season games in 2024.
The 2022 second-round pick logged at least 80 combined tackles and six pass defenses in each of his first two NFL regular seasons, but McCreary wasn't able to match that production in 2024. He started in 26 regular-season games over the first two years, but he was a starter in just six games in 2024 while serving as the Titans' nickel corner while L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps), Jarvis Brownlee and Chidobe Awuzie served as the outside corners. McCreary will likely have a similar role in 2025 unless Tennessee make major changes to its personnel in the secondary.

Titans' Roger McCreary: Past shoulder injury
McCreary (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
McCreary has been sidelined for the Titans' last two games due to a shoulder injury he suffered against the Commanders in Week 13. His ability to practice in full Wednesday indicates that the third-year corner is on track to play against the Colts on Sunday. McCreary has accumulated 42 tackles (35 solo), including 1.0 sacks and one pass defense across 12 regular-season games.
