Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Moves to NFI list
The Packers placed Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/appendix) on the non-football illness list Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Green Bay designated Lloyd for return from injured reserve last Wednesday, opening a 21-day window in which to get him back on the active roster for the first time since he sprained his ankle Week 2 against the Colts. Only two days later, though, he felt pain in his side and then was diagnosed with appendicitis. The Packers activated him from IR on Monday with the anticipation that they would place him on a different reserve list in the near future, which now has come to pass. This move allows the team to get the rookie third-round pick back later this season once he completes his recovery, but in the meantime Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks will continue to earn the backfield reps that don't go to starter Josh Jacobs on game days.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Returns from IR
The Packers reinstated Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/appendix) from injured reserve Monday.
Though Lloyd will temporarily get added back on the 53-man roster, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic relays that the rookie running back will likely be returned to IR or another reserve list after he required an emergency appendectomy Friday. Lloyd had missed the Packers' final seven games before a Week 10 bye due to a high-ankle sprain, but he had his 21-day evaluation window opened last Monday. However, Lloyd was a limited participant in just two practices on account of the ankle sprain as well as a hamstring injury before he reported abdominal pain and was diagnosed with appendicitis. Assuming he's eventually placed back on a reserve list, Lloyd would have to miss at least another four games, but he would still be eligible for activation again beginning Week 16.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Out with appendicitis
Lloyd (ankle) missed Friday's practice due to appendicitis and won't be available for Sunday's game at Chicago, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
The Packers designated Lloyd on Monday to return from injured reserve, subsequently listing him as a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday due to ankle and hamstring injuries. It seems the newly reported hamstring injury isn't serious and wouldn't have prevented him from playing this week, but Lloyd now has an entirely different issue to deal with, after missing the past seven games with a high-ankle sprain. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that the team will talk to the league about a possible extension/exception for the 21-day window when a player is designated to return from IR, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Reading between the lines, Lloyd is expected to miss at least two or three more weeks while recovering from surgery to address the appendicitis.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Stays limited in practice
Lloyd (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
After being designated for return from injured reserve earlier this week, Lloyd has gone down as a limited participant in both of the Packers' first two official practices coming out of a Week 10 bye. The rookie was previously placed on IR on Sept. 17 due to a high-ankle sprain, and though Lloyd is also being listed with a hamstring issue on Green Bay's injury report, head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that a scan on Lloyd's hamstring came back clean, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. At this stage, a decision on whether Lloyd is activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears may hinge on how he looks from a conditioning standpoint in practice after having not played since Week 2. The Packers have Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks on hand as capable depth options behind lead back Josh Jacobs (quadricep), so the team may not have a pressing need to bring back Lloyd this week.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Dealing with two injuries
Lloyd practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday due to ankle and hamstring injuries, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The Packers designated Lloyd for return from injured reserve Monday, and in his first session since Week 2 prep, he appeared on Green Bay's injury report not only with an ankle issue but another health concern as well. The former is the high-ankle sprain that has sidelined him the last seven games, while the latter is a new injury. Green Bay's top running back Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) was also a limited participant Wednesday, leaving question marks in the team's backfield ahead of Sunday's game in Chicago.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Limited in practice
Lloyd (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
The Packers designated Lloyd to return from injured reserve Monday, opening a 21-day window in which he can practice without being placed on the active roster. Head coach Matt LaFleur hasn't revealed whether Lloyd will be activated before Sunday's game against the Bears, or if Lloyd will leapfrog fellow running backs Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks on the depth chart.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Has practice window opened
The Packers designated Lloyd (ankle) for return from injured reserve Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
As the Packers returned from their bye week, they appear poised to get back the rookie third-round pick for the first time since he suffered a sprained ankle during a Week 2 win against the Colts. The team's top running back Josh Jacobs seemed to intimate as much earlier Monday, telling Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, "I'm excited to see him go this week." Emanuel Wilson and recently Chris Brooks have been spelling Jacobs out of the backfield, but Lloyd could soon join them if he shows well enough in practice this week.

Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Could be back from IR after bye
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Tuesday that Lloyd (ankle) will be ready to come off injured reserve in the near future, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.
Gutekunst suggested that Lloyd will take over the 53-man roster spot vacated by edge rusher Preston Smith, who was traded to the Steelers on Tuesday. The Packers are on bye this week, but if the Packers elect to open Lloyd's 21-day evaluation window in Week 11, the rookie running back could return to action as early as the team's Nov. 17 matchup with the Bears. After missing much of training camp and the preseason with hip and hamstring injuries, Lloyd didn't play Week 1, then carried six times for 15 yards and recorded a three-yard reception in his NFL debut in Week 2. He sprained his ankle in that Sept. 15 contest and was placed on IR two days later.
