Top Dolphins News

  • Dolphins' Greg Dulcich: Hauls in two of four targets

Dulcich secured two of four targets for 18 yards during Sunday's 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid.

Dulcich saw the majority of receiving opportunities at the tight end position go his way again despite the return of Julian Hill (ankle) from his three-week absence. After Miami's bye in Week 12, Dulcich will figure to reprise a similar role versus the Saints on Sunday, Nov. 30 in Week 13, unless Darren Waller (pectoral) manages to come off IR before then. Dulcich has now drawn at least four targets in three consecutive games, a development that's renewed the 25-year-old's fantasy relevance, especially in dynasty formats.

  • Dolphins' Julian Hill: Held to one catch in Week 11 win

Hill secured his only target for 14 yards during Sunday's 16-13 win over Washington in Madrid.

Hill returned to action Week 11 after having missed Miami's prior three games due to a lingering ankle injury, though he contributed mostly as a blocker while Greg Dulcich (two catches for 18 yards on four targets) handled the majority of pass-catching opportunities at tight end. The Dolphins will go on bye Week 12, and with Darren Waller (pectoral) still expected to return from IR this season, there are no guarantees Hill will see much in the way of significant receiving opportunities Week 13 versus the Saints.

  • Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Logs one carry in OT win

Wright rushed once for four yards during Miami's 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

Wright worked behind standout De'Vone Achane (172 yards from scrimmage) as well as Ollie Gordon (nine carries for 45 yards and one score) again Sunday. He had worked as the No. 2 back behind Achane in Week 10, but that opportunity came due to Gordon managing an ankle injury, which he's now fully recovered from. The Dolphins will go on bye Week 12, so Wright's next chance to handle reserve duties will come Sunday, Nov. 30 versus the Saints in Week 13.

  • Dolphins' Riley Patterson: Makes three FG, including game-winner

Patterson went 3-for-3 on field-goal tries and converted his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 16-13 overtime win over Washington.

Patterson started the scoring with a 46-yard field goal in the first quarter. He added a 39-yarder in the second and tied the game with his PAT in the fourth period. After the game went into overtime, Patterson ended the contest with a 29-yard field goal. This was the first time this season that Patterson has made more than two field goals in a game.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Productive as receiver in OT win

Washington secured all three targets for 42 yards, returned one kickoff for 21 yards and ran back one punt for three yards in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

Washington delivered his second-highest receiving yardage total of the season in the overseas victory, finishing tied for second in catches with Jaylen Waddle and third in yards. Washington also continued to fill his usual full-time returner role, and he now has at least 30 receiving yards in four of the last five games heading into Miami's Week 12 bye.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Gets into end zone in OT win

Gordon rushed nine times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

The rookie served as a highly effective complementary option to De'Von Achane, who led the way with 120 rushing yards on the day. Gordon made solid contributions on a smaller scale, recording a 20-yard run on his way to the second-highest rushing yardage total of his nascent career. Gordon also punched in his second career rush TD on a one-yard run early in the fourth quarter, rounding out his fantasy day nicely. Gordon's game-to-game production remains volatile, but he'll draw another favorable matchup in a Week 13 home date with the Saints on Sunday, Nov. 30 following a Week 12 bye.

  • Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Team-high yardage total in win

Waddle brought in three of seven targets for 52 yards in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

Waddle's yardage total wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good enough to lead the Dolphins on a day when Tua Tagovailoa threw for only 171 yards. Waddle also paced Miami in targets and contributed a game-long 31-yard grab, and he's now eclipsed 50 receiving yards in six of the last seven games overall, including four straight. Waddle will next take aim at the Saints secondary in a Week 13 home matchup on Sunday, Nov. 30 following a Week 12 bye.

  • Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Quiet performance in OT win

Tagovailoa completed 14 of 20 passes for 171 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

Tagovailoa's final line underscores the game manager role he played in the overseas win, one in which he withstood three sacks but still managed a solid 8.6 yards per attempt. The veteran signal-caller worked with a tight circle of five targets, and the fact he was able to remain turnover-free for only the second time in the last six games may have been as encouraging an aspect of his performance as any. Tagovailoa has thrown for under 200 yards in each of the last two contests heading into the Week 12 bye, but Miami has notably recorded victories in both contests.

  • Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Eclipses century mark in OT win

Achane rushed 21 times for 120 yards and brought in all five targets for 45 yards in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime victory over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday.

Achane put together a signature two-way performance, repeatedly picking up meaningful yardage on the ground while recording a game-long run of a relatively modest 23 yards. The speedy third-year pro did get evaluated for a possible back injury in the fourth quarter, but he was able to return to the game and handled all three carries on the Dolphins' game-winning drive to set up Riley Patterson's 29-yard field goal. Achane now has back-to-back 100-yard efforts on the ground for the first time this season, and he's recorded at least five catches in four consecutive contests heading into a Week 13 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Nov. 30.

  • Dolphins' Jordan Colbert: Won't return due to stinger

Colbert (neck) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against Washington.

Colbert was able to clear a concussion evaluation earlier in the game, but he won't return to Sunday's game due to a stinger. He has served solely on special teams, but his loss will deplete the Dolphins' depth at linebacker the rest of the way.

  • Dolphins' JuJu Brents: Won't return Sunday

Brents has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Commanders due to a right ankle injury.

Brents sustained the injury early in the fourth quarter and after initially being listed as questionable to return, he was quickly ruled out for the rest of the day. Jason Marshall stepped in to replace him at one of the Dolphins' outside cornerback spots. Brents finished the game with five tackles.

  • Dolphins' Benito Jones: Returns to Sunday's contest

Jones (ankle) has returned to Sunday's game against the Commanders, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Jones left in the first quarter of Sunday's game due to an ankle injury, but he was cleared by medical staff to return. His return will bolster the Dolphins' defensive front the rest of the way.

  • Dolphins' Benito Jones: Exits Sunday's game

Jones (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Jones sustained an ankle injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return. Jordan Phillips and Kenneth Grant are slated for more snaps at defensive tackle for as long as Jones is out of the game.

  • Dolphins' Dee Eskridge: Not playing in Week 11

Eskridge (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders in Madrid.

Eskridge will sit out a second straight game after he was limited in practice throughout Week 11 prep due to the shoulder issue. With Eskridge sidelined, the Dolphins will keep Cedrick Wilson and Tahj Washington active as depth wideouts behind Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

  • Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Sidelined for Madrid game

Douglas (foot/ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders in Madrid.

Douglas will be sidelined for a second straight game after he wasn't able to advance beyond limited participation in practice this week. With Douglas sitting out, the Dolphins will likely shift Minkah Fitzpatrick to slot corner to open up more reps at safety for Ashtyn Davis, Dante Trader and Ifeatu Melifonwu.

  • Dolphins' Bradley Chubb: Ready to play in Madrid

Chubb (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders in Madrid.

Chubb was added to the Dolphins' injury report Friday after he was a limited participant in the team's final practice of the week, resulting in him carrying a designation into Sunday. The foot issue ultimately wasn't considered serious enough to sideline the edge rusher for his first game of the season, and he's not expected to operate with any restrictions in Madrid. Chubb heads into the Week 11 contest having recorded 28 tackles, 5.0 sacks, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble through the Dolphins' first 10 games.
