Saints' Alvin Kamara: Will be questionable for Week 1
Coach Kellen Moore said Friday that Kamara (knee) will be questionable for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Kamara suffered an MCL sprain during a joint practice with the Cowboys on Aug. 18 that initially was slated to sideline him for at least one month. While Kamara was able to practice in a limited capacity during Week 1 prep, his status for Sunday seemingly will come down to a game-time decision. If Kamara is inhibited or sidelined this weekend, Kendre Miller would be the Saints running back to receive complementary work behind starter Travis Etienne.

Saints' Oscar Delp: Still not practicing Thursday
Delp (hamstring) did not participate at practice Thursday.
Delp has been nursing a nagging hamstring injury since late August, and his availability for Week 1 is in serious doubt at this point. Unless he makes a showing at practice Friday, it's not likely he'll play Sunday at Detroit.

Estime (thigh) did not participate at practice Thursday.
The thigh injury that landed Estime on the Saints' official injury report Wednesday kept him sidelined Thursday. He'll probably need to practice in some form Friday to have a realistic chance of playing Sunday at Detroit.

Kamara (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Kamara still has a chance to suit up Week 1 as he recovers from a sprained MCL, so his participation level Friday will bear monitoring before the Saints release game designations for Sunday's matchup with the Lions. Travis Etienne is in line to lead New Orleans' backfield, while Kendre Miller could take on a change-of-pace role if Kamara doesn't play.

Saints' Cameron Jordan: Won't play at Detroit
Coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday that Jordan (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Lions, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
The update doesn't come as a huge surprise, as it was anticipated Jordan could miss part of the regular season due to the hamstring injury he sustained during a practice back in early August. In his stead, 2025 third-rounder Vernon Broughton could get a start on the defensive line in Week 1.

Delp likely sustained his injury during the Saints' second preseason game against the Rams.
