Top Seahawks News

  • Seahawks' AJ Barner: Far more involvement in Week 11

Barner corralled 10 of 11 targets for 70 yards while taking two carries for one yard in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Barner bounced back nicely from a zero-catch effort in Week 10 to post career-best marks in targets, receptions and yardage against the Rams. The sophomore tight end recorded two more carries on Seattle's variation of Philadelphia's "tush push," but only one attempt proved to be successful in the divisional loss. Barner's big game pushed him up to 31 receptions for 306 yards through 10 starts, surpassing his rookie year totals of 30 and 245, respectively.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Gains 47 yards on 13 touches

Charbonnet rushed 11 times for 37 yards while catching both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Charbonnet failed to reach the levels of last week's season-best outing, resulting in a pedestrian fantasy score for Sunday's battle between NFC West contenders. The 24-year-old finished a distant second in the box score behind starter Kenneth Walker, who went over the century mark in total yards while scoring Seattle's lone touchdown. Charbonnet's nose for the end zone (six scores in nine appearances) keeps him in the flex zone in standard fantasy formats against the Titans next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Scores while going over 100 yards

Walker rushed 16 times for 67 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes on as many targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Walker was one of the few bright spots for Seattle on Sunday, scoring the team's only touchdown on offense while reaching the century mark in combined yards for the third time this season. The 24-year-old is up to 606 rushing yards through 10 games, surpassing the 573 yards he posted in 2024 on 18 fewer carries. Walker's improved efficiency on the ground (4.5 YPC) has helped stave off Zach Charbonnet from encroaching on the veteran's starting job. The latter was held to 47 yards on 13 combined touches Sunday, further cementing Walker as the preferred fantasy option heading into next Sunday's road tilt against Tennessee.

  • Seahawks' Jason Myers: Converts four FGAs in loss

Myers went 4-for-5 on field-goal tries and made his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Myers was the team's main offensive asset in Week 11, making field goals from 57, 30 and 22 yards in the first half before later adding a 29-yarder in the third quarter. The kicker was tasked with attempting a go-ahead field goal from 61 yards as time expired, but he missed it short. Myers has now connected on at least two field goals in four of his last five games and seven times overall this season. On the year, the kicker has gone 21-for-26 on field-goal attempts, including 6-for-9 from 50-plus yards, while making all 33 of his PATs over 10 contests.

  • Seahawks' Rashid Shaheed: Another quiet game in Week 11 loss

Shaheed caught two of five targets for 27 yards in the Seahawks' 21-19 loss to the Rams on Sunday. He added one rushing attempt for two yards.

Shaheed ran as the Seahawks' third wideout behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp. Through two games with his new team, Shaheed has managed just three catches for 30 scoreless yards on six targets. He and Sam Darnold are undoubtedly still working on their timing, and it could take a couple weeks to get on the same page. Shaheed gets a plus Week 12 draw against the Titans next Sunday, but he classifies as a low-floor, high-ceiling WR4 fantasy bet.

  • Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Quiet in return to Los Angeles

Kupp secured just three of seven targets for 23 yards in the Seahawks' 21-19 loss to the Rams on Sunday.

Making his return to Los Angeles after he was released by the Rams during the offseason, Kupp was a fixture in two-wide sets alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but Kupp's quiet season continued, as his 23 yards were fifth-most on the team despite being third on Seattle in targets. The 32-year-old has yet to hit 100 yards in a game this season and has just 29 catches for 390 yards and one touchdown on 42 targets through nine games. Even in a plus matchup next Sunday against the Titans, Kupp won't be a recommended fantasy starter.

  • Seahawks' Sam Darnold: Comes unraveled in big game

Darnold completed 29 of 44 pass attempts for 279 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for 11 yards on two carries in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Darnold failed to bounce back from last week's three-pick effort, instead lowering the bar by throwing four interceptions for the first time since 2019 during his infamous run with the Jets. It would be unfair to compare that version of the signal-caller to the improved franchise quarterback he developed into over the years, but Darnold is developing a concerning trend of losing his composure in big games. Notably, the last time he faced the Rams -- as a member of the Vikings in 2024 -- he fell flat while committing two turnovers in a playoff loss. The 28-year-old's horrid two-game stretch brings him to 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions following a red-hot start to the fantasy campaign. Darnold's gaudy passing totals (2,541 yards in 10 starts) keep him in the starting conversation as a fantasy option against the Titans next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Grey Zabel: Dealing with knee injury

Zabel suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Zabel went down with the knee injury late in the fourth quarter, and he was ultimately unable to be on the field for the team's final possession of the game. Head coach Mike Macdonald said after the game that Seattle won't know the extent of the injury until Zabel can undergo an MRI. Christian Haynes took over at left guard in Zabel's absence, and he'd likely remain in that spot if Zabel is sidelined moving forward.

  • Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Sets new career mark Sunday

Smith-Njigba corralled nine of 12 targets for 105 yards while adding 11 yards on one carry in Sunday's 21-19 loss to the Rams.

Smith-Njigba needed just 89 receiving yards in order to surpass last year's career-best mark of 1,130 yards. The breakout fantasy star completed the personal achievement comfortably Sunday, and in seven fewer contests to boot. It was JSN's seventh 100-yard game in 10 appearances this season, a feat he accomplished just three times in 2024, to continue putting his ascension into perspective. Smith-Njigba figures to continue producing WR1 numbers as the Seahawks look to get back into the win column against the Titans next Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Tyrice Knight: Enters concussion protocol

Knight (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Rams.

Knight took a hit to the head while covering on a kickoff in the first quarter and will not return after being diagnosed with a concussion. Chazz Surratt and Patrick O'Connell will be the backup inside linebackers for the rest of Sunday's game in Knight's absence.

  • Seahawks' Tyrice Knight: Under observation for concussion

Knight is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 11 game against the Rams.

Knight was evaluated after making a huge hit during a kick return in the first quarter. His role on defense was likely to lessen this week with Ernest Jones returning from a knee injury.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Healthy scratch Week 11

Bobo (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Bobo missed the Seahawks' last two games due to a calf injury. He was cleared of that injury during Week 11 prep, but he will still observe Sunday's game in street clothes as a healthy inactive. With Tory Horton (groin) also inactive, Cody White will serve in a rotational role at wide receiver behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed.

  • Seahawks' Jalen Milroe: Emergency QB3 for Week 11

Milroe (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, but he will serve as the Seahawks' emergency third quarterback, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Milroe will once again serve as the Seahawks' emergency QB3, which means he won't be allowed to play Sunday unless both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection. Milroe last saw regular-season action in Week 5 against the Buccaneers.
