  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Snags OT win to even series

Hill made 29 saves Saturday in the Golden Knights' 4-3 overtime win over the Wild in Game 4 of their first-round series.

The 28-year-old didn't have much chance on any of the shots that beat him, all of which came from in close, and Hill was especially sharp in OT, turning aside 10 shots until Ivan Barbashev banged home the winner late in the first extra frame. Hill has allowed 13 goals on 89 shots (.854 save percentage) in the series so far, but the Golden Knights will still have a chance to reclaim the lead in Game 5 back in Vegas on Tuesday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Tending twine Saturday

Hill will guard the road goal in Game 4 against Minnesota on Saturday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

After stopping 18 of 20 shots in a 4-2 win over the Wild in Game 1, Hill has allowed eight goals on 37 shots en route to two losses in his last two starts. Despite sitting 11th with 22.7 shots per game, Minnesota is tied for third with 4.00 goals per game this postseason.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Pulled after two periods

Hill surrendered four goals on 21 shots over two periods of Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Wild in Game 3.

Hill gave up two of the goals on Wild power plays, and another came on a turnover, so it was another loss that isn't fully his fault. It's mildly interesting head coach Bruce Cassidy switched to Akira Schmid for the final frame, but it's unlikely to lead to a goalie controversy at this time. Hill has struggled behind an unusually sloppy defense so far, allowing 10 goals on just 57 shots over three playoff games. It's not a must-win game just yet, but Hill will need to be sharper in Saturday's Game 4.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Set to face Minnesota in Game 3

Hill is expected to start on the road against Minnesota for Game 3 on Thursday, per Hannah Kirkell of Vegas Hockey Now.

Hill allowed four goals on just 16 shots en route to a 5-2 loss against the Wild in Game 2 on Tuesday, which evened the first-round series at 1-1. He had a 2.47 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 50 outings during the 2024-25 regular season. Minnesota finished the regular season 25th in goals per game with 2.74.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Let down by defense

Hill surrendered four goals on 16 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Wild in Game 2. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Defensive miscues, especially in the first period, were the root cause of Hill's poor outing. This ended his four-game winning streak, and it was the first time he'd allowed four or more goals since giving up six to the Kings on March 9. Hill has allowed six goals on 36 shots over two playoff contests -- the Golden Knights have limited how many shots he's seeing, but they're having trouble answering the Wild's top line. The series shifts to Minnesota for Game 3 on Thursday, and Hill will likely tend the twine in that contest.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Starting in Vegas

Hill will tend the home twine Tuesday against Minnesota in Game 2, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.

Over his last four appearances, including the regular season, Hill is 4-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .904 save percentage. The 28-year-old made 18 saves on 20 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win in Game 1 -- Matt Boldy, who scored twice, was the only Wild player to put the puck past Hill in that contest. As long as Vegas' blue line remains healthy, Hill will continue to be a strong option between the pipes.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Secures Game 1 win

Hill stopped 18 of 20 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Wild in Game 1.

Hill allowed a pair of goals to Matt Boldy but was otherwise solid in the playoff opener. The 28-year-old Hill is a Stanley Cup-winning goalie from 2023, so he knows what it takes to win in the postseason. This was his fourth straight win and his ninth victory in his last 11 outings, so he's also in great form at the right time of the year. Akira Schmid and Ilya Samsonov are unlikely to see much, if any, playing time in the playoffs.

Hill will patrol the home crease against Minnesota on Sunday in Game 1, according to Jesse Granger of The Athletic.

Hill posted a 32-13-5 record with four shutouts, a 2.47 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 50 regular-season outings in 2024-25. • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Faces light workload in win

Hill stopped 14 of 17 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Predators.

The Predators overcame a 3-1 deficit early in the third period, but the Golden Knights took the win with two goals over the last two minutes. Hill certainly wasn't at his best, but he did enough to earn his third straight win and his seventh victory in nine outings. He's now gone 12 games without allowing more than three goals -- he won't be dominant in every start, but he's rarely completely overwhelmed. Hill is at 32-13-5 with a 2.47 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 50 appearances. The Golden Knights' last two regular-season games are a back-to-back set on the road, with stops in Calgary on Tuesday and in Vancouver on Wednesday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Tending twine Saturday

Hill will patrol the home crease against Nashville on Saturday, Paul Delos Santos of NHL.com reports.

Hill has won his last two outings, stopping 43 of 46 shots. He has a 31-13-5 record with four shutouts, a 2.46 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 49 appearances this season. Nashville sits 32nd in the league with 2.54 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Steady in win

Hill stopped 24 of 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Hill has won seven of his last nine outings, and this was the fourth time in that stretch he's allowed just one goal. It was a fluky one that broke up his shutout bid Thursday, as Jared McCann poked home the puck amid a scramble near the net. Hill is up to 31-13-5 with a 2.46 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 49 starts this season. He has alternated starts with Akira Schmid lately -- if that workload pattern continues, Schmid would play Saturday versus the Predators, and Hill would be in line to start Tuesday against the Flames, though it's unclear if Ilya Samsonov (upper body) will be ready to return prior to either of those games.

Hill will patrol the blue crease at home versus Seattle on Thursday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Bounces back Sunday

Hill stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canucks.

Hill was pulled from his last start, a 4-0 loss to the Jets on Thursday. He bounced back in this outing, giving up goals to Nils Hoglander and Aatu Raty in a close contest, but the Golden Knights ultimately won on a Victor Olofsson tally late in the third period. Hill is up to the 30-win mark for the first time in his career, posting a 30-13-5 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 48 outings. The Golden Knights wrap up their road trip Tuesday in Colorado.

Hill will start Sunday's road game against the Canucks.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Pulled after two periods

Hill stopped 16 of 19 shots in two periods of Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Jets.

Hill was replaced for the final frame, with Akira Schmid checking in to get some action in a low-pressure situation. This was Hill's second loss in a row to open April after he won his last five outings in March. The 28-year-old dipped to 29-13-5 with a 2.50 GAA and a .907 save percentage through 47 contests after this poor showing. Hill will likely start one of the next two games, as the Golden Knights visit the Flames on Saturday and the Canucks on Sunday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Taking on Winnipeg

Hill saw his five-game winning streak come to an end Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Oilers. Hill has a career-high 29 wins this season, 10 better than his previous best set last season. The Jets lead the NHL with 106 points and are third in NHL scoring, averaging 3.41 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Winning streak snapped

Hill stopped 17 of 20 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers.

Hill had won five straight outings, but the Oilers' three-goal second period did him in this time around. He's gone eight games without allowing more than three goals, providing steady play between the pipes for the playoff-bound Golden Knights. The 28-year-old dropped to 29-12-5 with a 2.47 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 46 appearances. Ilya Samsonov (upper body) is bothered by an injury, so Hill could see a heavy workload for a while. The Golden Knights' next game is at home Thursday versus the Jets.
