Lohrei's goal was his first since Jan. 28, though he has picked up the pace recently with five points across his last four outings. The defenseman continues to fill in on the top power-play unit in the absence of Charlie McAvoy (shoulder). Lohrei is up to four goals, 28 points (13 on the power play), 62 shots on net, 76 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating through 56 appearances. He is likely to end 2024-25 in a top-four role, so he's worth a look in most fantasy formats as long as the offense is steady.

Lohrei notched two assists, six shots on goal, three blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
This was Lohrei's second two-assist game since the end of the 4 Nations Face-Off. Prior to the break, he was stuck in a five-game point drought. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to 27 points (12 on the power play), 55 shots on net, 75 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating through 54 appearances. His scoring upside has made him an option in fantasy this season, and he should be able to maintain a decent role since Hampus Lindholm (kneecap) is not expected to be back during the regular season.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Tallies two assists
Lohrei registered two helpers, took four shots on goal and had two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Anaheim.
Lohrei was the primary helper on Morgan Geekie's game-tying goal to send the game to overtime. His other helper came on the power play, where he has assumed blue line work with the man advantage after Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve. Overall, the 24-year-old defenseman has three goals, 22 helpers, 49 shots on net and 72 blocks in 53 appearances this season. His two-point effort Saturday broke a five-game drought without points and was his first multi-point game since mid-January. While McAvoy remains out, Lohrei should continue to receive a large portion of ice time and opportunities to produce on Boston's blue line. He has fantasy value in deep leagues.

Lohrei has three goals and 20 assists in 52 games this season and has been a force on the power play with 10 assists. The 2020 second-round pick is emerging as a productive option on the Boston blue line.
