Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Practices Monday
Ersson (lower body) participated in Monday's practice, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Ersson hasn't played since Nov. 11 versus San Jose after tweaking a previous injury during a Nov. 13 practice. Monday's on-ice session was his first with his teammates since he was sidelined. He could be ready to play as early as Thursday's home game against Florida. He has a 5-2-2 record with one shutout, a 2.70 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 11 appearances this season.

Flyers' Helge Grans: Reassigned to minors
Grans was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Grans has contributed one assist, five shots on goal, five blocked shots and four hits in six NHL outings this season. He was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues. Grans' return to the minors opens a roster spot for the Flyers to potentially activate Samuel Ersson (lower body) from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's home game against Florida.

Flyers' Noah Cates: Chips in with helper
Cates notched an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.
Cates has four points over his last nine outings, which is fine production for a bottom-six forward on a low-scoring team. Overall, he has five points, 17 shots on net, 27 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 21 appearances. Cates has mostly seen third-line usage lately, and he's been sharp enough defensively to stick in the lineup despite his poor scoring numbers for the year.

Flyers' Tyson Foerster: Pots goal Saturday
Foerster scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.
Foerster is finding his way on offense again with three goals and two assists over his last eight games. That's not league-winning production, but it's enough to get him on the radar in fantasy after a poor start to November. The winger is up to five goals, three helpers, 35 shots on net, 27 PIM and 17 hits across 24 outings in a middle-six role this season.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Tallies opening goal Saturday
Tippett scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.
Tippett hasn't been consistent on offense lately with just three points over his last 11 outings. The 25-year-old winger has been under 15 minutes of ice time in three of the last five contests, which is likely a product of his recent play. He's produced five goals, 12 points, 69 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-10 rating through 25 appearances.

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Two points including OT winner
Michkov scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Blues.
Travis Konecny made a spectacular defensive play in his own end in the first minute of OT and smacked the puck into the neutral zone while sprawled out flat on the ice, springing Michkov for a breakaway that the rookie didn't squander. The 19-year-old winger has nine goals and 19 points through his first 23 NHL contests, and three of the tallies have been overtime winners. Michkov leads all rookies so far this season in goals, points, power-play goals (four) and power-play points (nine), making him the early favorite for the Calder Trophy.

Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Wins third straight
Kolosov stopped 25 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.
The Flyers nearly got the job done in regulation, but with their goalie pulled to create a 6-on-4 power play, the Blues found the tying goal with just 20 seconds left in the third period -- Kolosov robbed both Jordan Kyrou and Justin Faulk in quick succession, but Jake Neighbours banged home the puck on the ensuing scramble. Kolosov finally got rewarded for his efforts when Matvei Michkov scored on a breakaway in OT. The rookie netminder has won three straight starts after losing his first four NHL decisions, and since Samuel Ersson (lower body) landed on the shelf, Kolosov has a 2.25 GAA and .913 save percentage in four appearances compared to Ivan Fedotov's 2.91 GAA and .901 save percentage during the same stretch. If Philly carries only two goalies when Ersson returns from IR, Kolosov has made a strong case to be the team's No. 2.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Travels with team
Ersson (lower body) traveled with the Flyers for Saturday's game in St. Louis, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ersson didn't play, but it's impressive he traveled for the road game, which was the second half of a back-to-back. The 25-year-old has been out since Nov. 11, and he's already exceeded his 1-2 week return timeline established in mid-November. Improved performances from Aleksei Kolosov and Ivan Fedotov have allowed the Flyers to take their time with Ersson's return, so he may not return to a No. 1 role once he's activated from injured reserve.

Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Tending twine Saturday
Kolosov will guard the road goal Saturday against St. Louis, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Kolosov will get the second half of Philadelphia's back-to-back after Ivan Fedotov played in Friday's 3-1 win over the Rangers. The 22-year-old Kolosov has a 2-4-0 record with a 3.11 GAA and an .885 save percentage through six appearances this season. St. Louis sits 29th in the league with 2.50 goals per game in 2024-25.

Flyers' Nicolas Deslauriers: Frequent scratch this season
Deslauriers was a healthy scratch for the ninth game in a row in Friday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
With how often head coach John Tortorella changes his lines, it's a surprise Deslauriers has been a scratch so often. The 33-year-old winger also sat the first five games of the year and a three-game span around the end of October. He has one assist, 15 hits and five PIM across seven outings, though he's the logical choice to enter the lineup when another forwards ends up the target of Tortorella's ire.

Flyers' Tyson Foerster: Notches assist in win
Foerster provided an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
Foerster has picked up four points (two goals, two assists) over his last seven outings. The 22-year-old set up a Bobby Brink tally in the first period of this contest. Foerster has seven points, 33 shots, 17 hits, 29 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 23 appearances in 2024-25. He should continue to play middle-six minutes, but he's got some work to do to get up to the pace that saw him generate 33 points over 77 games as a rookie last season.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Earns win Friday
Fedotov saved 22 of 23 shots in a 3-1 win over the Rangers on Friday.
Fedotov bounced back after allowing eight goals on 67 shots (.881 save percentage) over his previous two starts. The Flyers scored twice in the opening 4:24 of the first period, giving Fedotov some breathing room early. He was beaten by Vincent Trocheck midway through the second frame, which made it a one-goal game, but Fedotov didn't let anything else past him. He improved to 4-4-1 through nine appearances in 2024-25. After getting the nod Friday, Fedotov will probably hand the goaltending duties over to Aleksei Kolosov for Saturday's tilt in St. Louis.

Flyers' Bobby Brink: Provides goal Friday
Brink supplied a goal in the Flyers' 3-1 win over the Rangers on Friday.
Brink opened the scoring just 3:14 into the game. He had failed to find the back of the net in his previous six outings, though he did register two assists in that span. Brink has four goals and 11 points in 21 appearances in 2024-25, putting him on pace to top his mark of 23 points in 57 outings last season.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Nets two markers
Konecny scored two goals in Philadelphia's 3-1 win over the Rangers on Friday.
Konecny found the back of the net at 4:24 of the first period to put the Flyers up 2-0. That turned out to be all the offense they needed, but Konecny collected his second marker of the afternoon on an empty net late in the third period. He's on a four-game scoring streak and has been held off the scoresheet just once over his past 12 appearances. That gives him 13 goals and 29 points through 24 outings overall. At this rate, he'll surpass his career high of 68 points, which was established last campaign.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Between pipes Friday
Fedotov will defend the home crease versus the Rangers on Friday.
Fedotov is 3-4-1 with a 3.69 GAA and an .874 save percentage as he has struggled his last two starts after winning three in a row. Fedotov has given up eight goals on 67 shots in a loss to Carolina and a shootout defeat at the hands of the Golden Knights. The Rangers are in the midst of a four-game losing streak and are averaging 3.33 goals per game.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Unavailable Friday
Ersson (lower body) will miss his eighth straight game Friday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Ersson partook in Friday's morning skate, so he is getting close to a return. Ersson was injured at practice over two weeks ago. Ersson is 5-2-2- with a 2.70 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 11 appearances this season. He is day-to-day ahead of Saturday's tilt in St. Louis.

Flyers' Ryan Poehling: Manages helper Wednesday
Poehling notched an assist, two blocked shots and two PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators.
Poehling has three points over his last eight outings. The 25-year-old has typically played in a fourth-line role this season, though his ice time can fluctuate with head coach John Tortorella's numerous in-game adjustments. Overall, Poehling has eight points, 13 shots on net and 36 blocked shots through 20 contests.
